Recycle Love

2007-2015, the Recycle Love Project started as a way for me to process my father’s passing during my Peace Corps service in Thailand. He had always believed strongly in the value of education and the importance of helping others in that pursuit. I decided that to honor him, every year I would raise money to support a scholarship fund for the students at the two schools I worked with in Trang. Every year, for five years, eight students received funds to support transportation expenses to and from high school, which is a two-hour bus ride from their village, often preventing some of the students from making the trek.
